Architectural Visualization

These images were produced to demonstrate that a proposed interior design had sufficient natural lighting to qualify for LEED points. The lighting simulation was run on a simplified 3D model of the new office space, taking into account such characteristics as the color of the carpet, the reflectance, cleanliness and e-value of the glazing, and the geographic orientation of the site.

On the left is a simple block model that has been rendered on a site plan, to help assist prelimary design work for a school in East Austin. On the right is a paper model (approximately 4 feet square) made to demonstrate a proposed scheme to clients.
