This is a small , non-functional stool made using a variety of traditional woodworking techniques. A 3D plan was prepared beforehand to help visualize proportions of the final piece.
The stool is made of black walnut, sugar maple and molded birch plywood.
Tiffany technique stained-glass, approximately two feet square.
Using a bending jig, I made this piece out of copper rod. The sections are all identical, and lay flat in a perfect circle.
